
Birding Television with Man Bijt Hond!
From Sunday the 12th till Tuesday the 14th a Man Bijt Hond television crew followed Vincent van der Spek and me on a birding trip to Schiermonnikoog.
The trip started on the Beach of Egmond aan Zee where Vincent rediscovered the first Thayer’s Gull (Thayer’s meeuw) for the Netherlands while they were doing a close-up. The whole consternation that followed including shouting of directions and the celebrating will be a very funny piece of television…
What happened on Schiermonnikoog? I guess you have to see for yourself! The 5-part mini-series airs in the first or second week of May, but I’ll keep you posted non that!
